Obituary of Laurie M. Velo

Laurie Velo 63 Pembroke Pines.

A longtime Pembroke Pines resident passed away November 2 after a brave battle with cancer. Laurie was a court reporter with Merit reporting of Ft. Lauderdale for over twenty five years. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Everyone who knew her was always impressed with her honesty, caring and kindness. She was truly an exemplary person. She is survived by her sister Valerie Norniella ( Ramon ), nephews Brent and Bryce Norniella and Niece Carli Norniella. She will also be missed by countless friends especially Carla D’Onofrio her childhood friend of 48 years. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Arrangements by Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family.
