Simone was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

She attend local schools and completed a two year college degree.

Simone immigrated to New York City in 1987, 6 months later she relocated to Miami, Fl.

She was married in 1989 and focused on becoming a US citizen which  she successfully completed in 1992. Simone was very proud of her accomplishment.

For the past 17 years Simone has been employed as a sales associate at Walmart # 2962 in Pompano Beach. Fl.

She enjoyed working alongside her fellow associates, especially her friend Theresa.

Simone shared her Brazilian happiness and culture with all, especially the food, music, samba dancing along with an insatiable passion for Brazilian soccer.

Simone leaves behind her life partner – fiancée of over 18 years Thomas Manzi, Jr. of Ft Lauderdale

Her mother Inah, father Antonio, sister Iliana, brother Vincente, niece Fatima & daughter Sophia and Nephew Eduardo in Brazil
