On July 2nd, 2020, Richard Francis Campbell loving Husband, Dad and Papa (Grandpa) passed away at the age of 77.
Richard was born on September 1st, 1942 in Somerville, Massachusetts to Helen and Norman Campbell Sr, and married Josephine Campbell, who passed on September 9th, 2020. Richard and Josephine spent 55 years of marriage together.
He is survived by his children, daughter Michelle Niknezhad married to Masoud “Nicky” Niknezhad and their two children Ashley and Taylor. Her son Richard F Campbell Jr. married to Michelle Aller and their two children Mia and Maxwell. His siblings, Edna Verderber, Norman Campbell, Robert Campbell and Theresa Campbell, also his beloved dog Ozzy.
Richard started his career in constructions doing scaffolding, which he worked in this field for many years. He was a handy man of all trades. His passion was pizza making, he was known as the family “pizza man”. He loved making pizzas for his family and friends. Richie could not pass by a pizza parlor without stopping in to get a slice or two for the road. When he brought home a pizza for his family you better believe there were a few slices missing before it hit the table. Richard completed his professional career when he retired from facilities management at Kindred Hospital.
Richard was known to his friends and family as Richie or Rich. Richie loved working on cars, boats, and motorcycles. He loved to buy, fix them up and sell them. He enjoyed old cars shows, car museum and looking through his Auto Trader. He loved the beach, racecars, boating, lobsters, and spending time with his family.
Richard took the most pride in his children and grandchildren. Richie always wanted to help his children in anyway he could. He would help them with projects around their houses. He would always spoil his grandkids. He was always so proud of his grandchildren academic accomplishments. He was so excited when he became a grandpa again last March 2019 to his 4th grandchild.
