Anthony A. Virnig, 84 of Pembroke Pines FL passed away on December 3, 2020 at his home. He was a resident of Broward County for 49 years after moving from Madison WI where he worked at Oscar Mayer in the Canning Department for 12 years. He was a dedicated employee for The City of Hollywood for 23 years with the first 8 years working with Parks & Recreation and the final 15 years as an Electrician. He was known by family, friends and acquaintances as Tony and is survived by his beloved son Shane Virnig of Pembroke Pines FL and his loving sister Esther Ganser of Sauk City WI. He is predeceased in death by his mother Antonette, his father Adrian and his brother Andrew. Funeral service will be held at Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel, 9000 Pines Blvd Pembroke Pines FL 33024 on Friday December 11, 2020 from 11am to 1pm with his son Shane speaking. Burial will follow at Fred Hunter's ,6301 Taft St Hollywood FL 33024. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for friends and acquaintances to make a donation on his behalf to Trustbridge 5300 East Ave West Palm Beach FL 33407. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Trustbridge for their help in caring for Anthony during his time under Hospice care
