Obituary of Ralph Michael Bailey

Ralph Michael Bailey (68) of Davie peacefully passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer. A unique soul, he was a talented musician, artist, and machinist. His love for music began at an early age and his self-taught instruments ranged from guitar and banjo to piano and keyboards and even inter-twinned computer programing into his musical array. His passion, though, was playing lead guitar and his natural talent and skill rivaled that of rock legends. He loved motorcycles and hotrods, and spent many afternoons riding his Harleys with friends or taking his antique cars for a drive or to a car show. He found joy in spending quiet time with his family and adored his grandsons, Luke and Troy. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Bonney Vitta (Matthew); mother, Rosetta Bailey; brother, Bobby Bailey (Debbie); daughter-in-law Cecelia Bailey; and grandsons, Luke (14) and Troy (10). He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Edgar Bailey; and his only son, Michael Jacob Bailey. Visitation services will be held on Monday January 18 from 4pm to 6pm at Scarano Funeral Home in Davie. Internment will be on Tuesday January 19 at 9:30am at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
