Obituary of Arsenia R. Fidel

Arsenia Rosapapan Fidel, 69, departed this Life on April 17, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1951 to Manuel & Adriana Reyes Rosapapan in Olongapo City, Philippines. She is the second to the youngest, and acquired the nickname “Baby” as being the youngest baby girl of 10 siblings. She completed her studies in Nursing at Perpetual Help College of Manila and received her BSN at Manila Central University. Her mother encouraged her to relocate to the U.S. for better career opportunities and quality of life. She married the late Jose Deocadiz Fidel in 1991, where they resided together in the South Florida area for 29 years. She was predeceased by her husband in 2020 and is survived by her two daughters: Grace (oldest) and Adriana (youngest). Arsenia was a strong, independent, and hardworking woman, who self-sacrificed everything in her power so her two daughters could have a good life. She was a devoted, fun-loving mother and wife, who enjoyed being around close family and friends. She made friends everywhere she went, she was a genuine individual who accepted and saw the good in everyone. She was a devout Catholic, who kept a strong faith no matter the circumstances that occurred, she believed God has a plan for everyone and she would always quote Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
