We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our Jesenia Nieves on May 6th, 2021. Her sudden loss has left our family absolutely heartbroken and left us with a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Jessie was the kindest, most loving soul and a joy to be around. She had such a big heart and always put others before herself. Her laugh was infectious. She had a great sense of humor. Jessie, we will forever miss you!Jesenia Nieves was born on December 5, 1984 in the Bronx, NY. As a little girl, she loved animals, the movie Annie, and Elmo from sesame street. She was a very intelligent child with excellent grades in school. Her smile was bright and radiant and could light up any room. She developed a love for the arts and participated in every school play and functions. As she grew up, she loved fashion and making statements and was constantly adding her own flair to her look. Her passion for beauty and modeling lasted long through her adulthood. She was so vibrant and so full of life. She was quite the social butterfly, and easily made friends wherever she went. Jesenia was mature beyond her years. She was very protective of her little brother and frequently took care of him and loved him as if he were her own child. She loved her family dearly and was the life of the party at family gatherings. Her loving nature extended beyond the people she cared for. She was also a lover of animals and was known to keep the strangest pets Including a sugar glider, a rabbit, a ferret, hamsters, numerous cats, and our family dog , mindy. Although she never had any children, she always considered her pets as her furry little children.Jesenia is survived by her mother Janette Hernandez-Diaz, her daddy Pedro Juan Narvez and her biological father Anibal Nieves jr., her brother Peter Narvaez, her sisters Tatiana and Desiree Nieves, Her spouse Andres Cardona, her grandmother Hipolita Diaz, Maria Soto, God parents Miriam and Ismael Figueroa, her aunties Estrella Bonilla,Ivette Cortiella,Joanne Narvaez,Mia Hyde, uncles Wilfred Colon and Thomas Nieves, and all her friends.Jesenia was loved by so many and it pains us that she's gone but she will always be watching over us in heaven as our guardian angel.
