Obituary of Marta Cruz Guzman

"Marta Cruz, 79 years old, departed this life at home with her family by her side, on September 13th, 2021. She was born in Havana, Cuba on October 28th,1941. And moved to South Florida in the 1970s. She loved her family and she missed her old Cuba. She loved to cook and she never missed a Marlins baseball game on TV. She loved to play her crossword puzzles, and listening and singing to her Cuban ballads. Marta is survived by her beloved son Jose Lugo, daughter-in-law Silvia Lugo, and her three grandsons, Anthony, Sebastian and Jaime. A viewing service will be held on September 24th, 2021 between 4 to 8pm, at the Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home in 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Y se mudó al sur de la Florida en la década de 1970. Amaba a su familia y extrañaba a su vieja Cuba. Le encantaba cocinar y nunca se perdía un partido basebal de los Marlins en la televisión. Le encantaba jugar sus crucigramas y escuchar y cantar sus baladas cubanas. A Marta le sobreviven su amado hijo José Lugo, su nuera Silvia Lugo y sus tres nietos, Anthony, Sebastián y Jaime.
