I will always remember my brother Bong ( as we fondly call him) as a very loving and generous person, he always had a soft spot for the needy. I am older than him but he was very matured and smart that he seemed older than me in so many ways. He had big dreams and strived hard to achieve it. He loved his family so much and I can attest to that. He was not a perfect son, husband, brother, cousin, and friend. But he tries to give whatever he thinks is best. I rarely remember an instance that he would moan or complain or talk ill about someone. He would just carry everything inside him. Truly a man of secrets.
It was a very rough year for him, his family and my Mom the most. And I would like to add this picture of balloons as a gesture of freeing him from a body full of ailments and tubes into the arms of our Almighty Father.
“ Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” Job1:21
I thank God for Bong’s life and for such a short time, he was gone so soon but touched so many lives. I thank God for family and friends who supported and prayed for his family and my Mom and Pops in this extremely trying times. God bless you all.
I love you Bong.
