Cresencia Garcia RudioSeptember 14, 1933 - November 1, 2021.Cresencia Garcia Rudio who loved to be called “Nanay Ising” by her children and friends, departed her loving family on November 1, 2021.Cresencia was born in Bauan, Batangas, Philippines on September 14, 1933. As a teenager, she was popular in town, a so-called “social buttery”. Her charm caught the eye of Catalino Rudio, a dashing gentleman. After a whirlwind courtship, they were married 71 years ago and marked the rst chapter of a long love story. The couple had four sons - Arthur, Vicente, Fernando, and Juanito. The family had a happy and wonderful life in the Philippines. Cresencia was well respected and well loved in the community, as she was always giving a helping hand. She’s always been hard working, one of her many qualities. She was a full time mother, tended to the family’s small poultry and laundry business, and still managed to acquire the skills of a talented cook. Cresencia and Catalino loved social gatherings and often entertain friends in their home.In 1967, the oldest son, Arthur, left for the United States, and eventually sponsored the rest of the family, as they joined him in Miami, Florida in 1974. In Miami, Cresencia worked at Ramada Inn and Publix Super Markets for many years and retired in 2004. During this time, she and Catalino, generously opened their home to many Filipinos who needed temporary housing. Cresencia is always giving without the thought of getting.Cresencia loves her family above everything else. We know we can always count on her to be there in time of need. She is the best mother, the best wife, the best grandmother, the best great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She always puts everybody before herself. She always see the upside in everything and tries her best to put a smile on everyone’s face with not only her cooking, but her wicked sense of humor. Our family has been incredibly blessed because of our mother. In May 2005, on Mother’s Day Awards Night, Cresencia was one of the honoree “Mother of the Year” by NANAY INC., (National Allegiance to the Needs of the Aging Years), a charitable organization towards assisting, supporting and promoting the welfare of the elderly, based in Miami, Florida, https://www.nanay.com/home.NANAY ISING, WE LOVE YOU, YOU’RE THE GREATEST MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER IN THE WORLD.Services will be held on November 6, 2021 as follows:Viewing: 9 am - 11 am, at Joseph Scarano Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL Church Service: 12 pm, at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 16800 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FLCirca 1950Circa 2010
