Obituary of Frank O. Malanga

Frank Oscar Malanga, March 16, 1938 to December 16th, 2021. On December 16th, 2021 Earth lost - and heaven gained - a beautiful soul. Since the loss of his soulmate, Ruth, in January, Frank has been striving to be the good father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend that he has always been, but it was apparent to all that his heart was elsewhere. Now finally they are reunited with each other, and with their Lord and Savior. Born and raised in the Bronx, he met Ruth on the subway on their way home from school. It was love at first sight and they soon married. Their marriage vow of “till death do us part” was fulfilled when Ruth passed earlier this year, after over sixty years of marriage. Frank will be greatly missed by his two children: Michael and his wife, Helene Malanga, Ruth and her husband, Jody Miller; his five grandchildren: Benjamin and his wife, Michelle Miller, Bethany and her husband, Nathan Hundley, Catherine, and her husband, John Bodeker, Nicole Malanga, Elizabeth Malanga; and his eight great-grandchildren: Jaqueline, John Isaac, Judah, and Isaiah Hunter Bodeker; Alexander, Ruth, Esther and Timothy Hundley. Frank worked for many years for the Treasury Department. He loved electronic gadgets and never stopped trying to learn something new. He was well known for his sense of humor, even during the most difficult circumstances. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Jean Malanga, his brother, Michael John Malanga and his wife Ruth J Malanga.
