Obituary of James Clyde Mullikin

Obituary of James Clyde Mullikin July 28, 1932 – December 31, 2021 James (Buddy) Clyde Mullikin passed away on December 31, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife, Wanda G. Mullikin, sister Dorothy Wandrum and brother Richard Mullikin. James was born in Dania (now Dania Beach), Florida on July 28, 1932, where he lived with his parents James Clyde Mullikin, Sr. and Edith Mae Mullikin; one sister and two brothers. James attended and graduated from South Broward High School in 1950. While in high school, James met and eventually married Wanda Perdue. He and Wanda spent 70 years together and were blessed with 4 wonderful children. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Dania where he established many wonderful friendships. James was originally employed by Apex Roofing and Sheetmetal Co. while still in high school. He then moved to other companies of sheet metal and retired in 1995 from Hill York where he served as an estimator. After retirement, James and Wanda moved from Dania Beach to Cudjoe Key, Florida, where he enjoyed many days of fishing and diving with family and friends. James joined and was a member and deacon of Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Sugarloaf Key, Florida, where he established many more wonderful friendships. James is survived by his children, Donald Mullikin (Linda), David Mullikin, Nanci Denny and Kenneth Mullikin (Amy), 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and his brother Harold Mullikin.
