Angelo Patrissi, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, formerly of Huntington Station, NY, passed away on 2/14/2022 in his 95th year.Beloved husband of his late wife Dorothy. Loving father of 4 children, William and his wife Thelma,Patrick and his wife Debra, Donna and her husband Lou, Deborah and her Fiancé, John. Cherished brother of Rose Torre and her late husband Salvatore, Teresa Travalino and her late husband Dean, his predeceased sister Mary Kazarian and her late husband Haig, Sister-in-law Patricia Lustgarten and husband Chester. He is also survived by his two loving grandchildren, Diana and Alec, his step granddaughter, Asha Shaw-Mazza and great step grandson, Emerson as well as many nieces and nephews. Angelo was predeceased by his parents, William (Vito) and Teresa Patrissi. Angelo proudly served his country in the Navy in the Pacific Theater and achieved a rank of Lieutenant. Following his service in the Navy, he earned his undergraduate degree from Saint Francis college in 1950 and went on to complete his masters at Fordham University. He was a social worker at BOCES 3 for over 30 years and he also worked at Little Flower Children’s services helping to find loving families for foster homes for children. His passion, other than family and friends was playing golf, cards, football season and March Madness. But his most cherished accomplishment was that he was married for 67 years to his wife Dorothy who he lovingly called his “Gift from God”. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
