5/9/2022 OBITUARY CARLOS BARDELAS Carlos Bardelas, 71, Aventura, FL, formerly of New York City, passed away on April 30, 2022, in Aventura, Florida. Carlos Bardelas was born in Havana, Cuba, to Andres and Clara (Leyva) Bardelas on October 18, 1950. After immigrating to the United States in 1962, Carlos attended Notre Dame High School in Niles, IL graduating in 1969. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He founded Bard Graphics, a specialty printing company in New York City, which served his corporate clients for over 35 years. He is survived by his husband: Gary Osland of Aventura, FL, brothers: Andres (Jane) Bardelas of Freeport, IL, and Alberto (Valerie) Bardelas of Morton Grove, IL. Brothers-in-Law: Dean (Bonnie) Osland of Scottsdale, AZ, Danti (Penny) Osland of Gold Canyon, AZ, and Greg (Diane) Osland of Rochester, MN. Additionally, he is survived by nephews and nieces: Andres R (Annie) Bardelas of Geneva, IL, Seth (Elizabeth Alexandre) Bardelas of Westport, CT, Emily (Steven) Carlson of Whitefish Bay, WI, Ana (Matthew) Jablonski of Cary, IL, April Bardelas and Matthew Bardelas of Morton Grove, IL, Sheri Osland of Hudson, WI, Matthew Osland of Gold Canyon, AZ, Casey Jorgenson of Mankato, MN, Nicholas Jorgenson of Minneapolis, MN, Katherine (Travis) Wrobel of Columbia Heights, MN, Jenny Osland of Phoenix, AZ, and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his parents-in-laws, Donald and Jean Osland, and sisters-in-law, Debra Schiesser and Gina Jorgenson.
