On the morning of Monday, May 9, 2022, Walt Rothermel died at the age of 77 of brain cancer.
Walt is survived by his wife Sharon who he says he was very lucky to marry and still loves and has two beautiful sons.
An amateur photographer, Walt enjoyed capturing memories of the places he traveled with Sharon. He was a natural bullshitter who struck conversations easily with strangers. After Sharon and he adopted their dachshund rescue, Dolly, Walt fell in love with dachshunds. He loved gardening and volunteered at Flamingo Gardens.
