Obituary of Jose Ouseph Kottoor

Jose Kottoor September 14,1945 – September 7, 2022 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalm 23:6 It is with deep sadness that we announce that after a long illness, on September 7,2022 our beloved papa Jose Kottoor was called to his eternal rest at Memorial Hospital, Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was born in Changanacherry, Kerala to Olahannan and Tresea Kottoor. He was fourth of five children. He enlightened little minds by teaching them Mathematics and Science for over 30 years at St. John the Baptist High School, Thane. He loved to listen to old Malayalam and Hindi songs, watch soccer, reading and spent a lot of time in prayers. In 1975, he married Lalu Jose and spent blissful 47 years in love and care. Left to cherish his memory are his Children Priya & Subhash; Son-in-law Pratap; Daughter-in-law Jasmine and Grandchildren Pranav, Pravina, Liza, Ezekiel and Elijah. He was truly a loving husband to his wife; A caring father to his kids and a doting grandfather to his grandchildren. His kindness, his laughter, his smile and loving ways will be greatly missed by many dear relatives, friends and students. The family will receive condolences on Monday September 12, 2022 from 11:30 a.m to 12.30 p.m followed by Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Health Syro Malabar Catholic Church; 201 North University Drive, Coral Springs, Florida 33071 Burial on Monday September 12,2022 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Lauderdale, Florida.
