❤️ Jose Guillermo Rodas Rivadeneira, born in Chillanes Provincia Bolivar, Ecuador on June 27, 1943 son of Guillermo Papa chi-chin and Mama Zoilita. Husband of Maria Magdalena Rodas, son-in-law of our abuelita Olga, Father of Maria...married to Robert Castillo, Yesenia..... married to Benny Collado and Jose Jr.... married to Janice Rodas. Grandfather of Robert Jr. …married to Shantel Castillo, Jonathan, Belenia lovingly “Bella”... married to Danilo Jose Santos, Elijah, Jaqueline lovingly “Jackie” and Jose Milton lovingly “Juju”. Great Grandfather of Maylyse & Oliver. He was also a brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, great friend and a father figure to many. Gordo, you gave us unconditional love without expecting anything in return.... your wisdom, guidance, and your clownish behavior to bring us joy every day of your life. You came to this country looking for the American dream, always thinking of your parents and siblings as you always told us. As a husband to your Negra… together you built a family, sacrificed so that we never lack the presence and warmth of our parents. You achieved a profession as an upholster giving us not only a good education, but also teaching us values, principles, respect and always allowing us to develop our own virtues together as siblings. You were not only a father, but also our best friend. You were a wonderful father but as a grandfather and great grandfather you hit it out of the park! Your love was tender, special and most of all unconditional. You were able to give them your intelligence, wisdom, humbleness, humor and above all your great faith. You taught them how to dream so that they can achieve their goals and make you proud. Even though in the last 6 years your life changed dramatically, you continued to teach us your courage, strength, faith and perseverance and without forgetting your good sense of humor ......CARAJO!!!! That love that you enriched in us allowed your family to walk this journey and trial with you until your last heartbeat. First and foremost, we want to give Glory and Honor to our Lord Jesus. Gordis, thank you for being our father, our guide, our role model and our champion!!!! You were the pillar of this family. We pray that we can continue your legacy and that we maintain that togetherness you instilled in us. We will love you forever until we meet again. ❤️
