Obituary of Joan Mary Cordell

Joan Cordell, 90 of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022, with her family at her side. There was a private cremation. She is survived by her children Thomas, Wayne (Cathy), Diana, David, Daniel. Grandchildren Jason, Sean, Lucy, Chris, Jonathan. Great Grandchildren Hazel, Emmylou, Avery, Townes, Alan, David. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph, Mary Flessner, Grandson David Cordell, Son In-Law Vincent Dalonzo, Daughter In-Law Loretta Michaud. Joan was born in Kissimmee, FL. She graduated from Edison Sr. High School in Miami. She retired from Nabisco, but continued to work various jobs well into her eighties. Joan was a faithful Catholic and a long time parishioner of St. Maurice Church, where she was a member of the choir. Joan was humble, kind and caring to all who knew her. She loved her family deeply, and she will be greatly missed. Please keep the Cordell family in your prayers. The Joseph A.
