Obituary of Una McIntyre

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother UNA MCINTYRE 83 of MIRAMAR, FLORIDA, passed away on DECEMBER 05, 2022 in MIRAMAR. The funeral service will be held at Scarano Funeral Home at 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, on DECEMBER 18, 2022. The viewing starts at 10:00 am, and the going-home services start at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by 7th Day Adventist Pastor L. H. Walton. Una was born on JANUARY 27, 1939, to Myriam James and Henry Tulloch in Jamaica, West Indies. After graduating from Carron Hall High School, she worked at the Probation Office in Port Maria, Jamaica. Una emigrated from Jamaica to the United States in 1967. She graduated with a business degree from Broward College and worked as a Government Mortgage Loan Processor. In 1962 she met Leonard, and they wed on December 21, 1964. They had three children. Sharon McIntyre, Leonard McIntyre II, Janice McIntyre. They had a blended family with stepchildren. After retiring in 2006, Una spent her time traveling, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, and watching old western shows. She was the dancer and jokester at every gathering. Una was predeceased by her parents, Henry Tulloch and Myriam James. Her siblings Ronald, Everald, Derven, Herbert, Victor, Harper, Hervin, Vera, Amy, and Gloria. She is survived by her husband, Leonard McIntyre, and children Sharon McIntyre, Leonard McIntyre II, and Janice McIntyre; Stepdaughter Olivine Singh, and daughter-in-law Sherene McIntyre; Granddaughters Jamesia McIntyre, Mya McIntyre, Layla McIntyre, Priya Davis, Praveen Singh, and Kamini Singh; Great grandsons, Cooper Davis and Cameron Davis. Siblings Noel, Raphael, Beryl, Inel, and many many nieces and nephews.
