Obituary of Victor Bonnie Kelly

Victor Bonnie Kelly, 79, of Tacarigua, Trinidad, passed away on March 7th 2023 in Jackson North Memorial Hospital.Funeral service will be held on 03/18/2023 at 8:00AM with Father George Puthresill of The Church of the Visitation officiating. Viewing of the deceased will be held on 3/17/2023 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Scarano funeral home will be handling the funeral arrangements.Victor Bonnie Kelly was born in Belmont, Trinidad to Lionel Samuel and Millicent Kelly on June 6th 1947. He attended Belmont Secondary School. He acquired an apprenticeship in auto mechanics and later went on to work for the public transport system in South Quay, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago for approximately 22 years. He married Clare Alexis on August 17th, 1972 and had two children, Suzette and Lester. After resigning from the public transport system, he started his own car repair business. In 1988, he and his family immigrated to Miami, Florida where he worked as a mechanic for several years. In 1998 he returned to Trinidad and Tobago where he pursued different endeavors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as, being surrounded by nature.Victor Bonnie Kelly is survived by his wife, Clare Kelly and his children Suzette and Lester; his siblings Trevor, Steve, Brian, and Judy-Ann; nieces and nephews, Ian, Junior and Sharon.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family and friends who have offered help and encouragement in this time of need.
