Obituary of Mila Ohanian

Mila Ohanian Fesdjian, who lived a full life of 100 years, passed away on September 19, 2023, in Miramar, Florida. Funeral and visitation services will be held at the chapel of Joseph Scarano Funeral Homes, on September 24th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with Reverend Father Der Vartan Jalfayan from the Armenian Apostolic Church officiating the ceremony. Mila was born on September 8, 1923, in Bucharest, Romania, she was the daughter of Ardashes Ohanian and Haigoui Chitchitian. Her childhood and youth were spent in Galatz, where she excelled as a student at the Armenian school and later at Our Lady of Sion College, where she completed her secondary education. During World War II, her family moved to Bucharest, where she met her future husband and life companion, Meguerditch Fesdjian, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Mila was a loving mother to two sons, Eduardo and Ricardo, along with their wives, Amelia and Vanda, respectively. She was also a caring grandmother to Mila, Michael, Richard, and Christian, who in turn shared their lives with Claudia and Viviana. Furthermore, she was a proud great-grandmother to Luke, Michelle, Gabriela, and Valentina. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her legacy will endure through the generations that followed her. Rest in peace, Mila Ohanian Fesdjian. Los servicios funerarios y de visitación se llevarán a cabo en la capilla de las Funeraria Joseph Scarano, el 24 de septiembre, de 3:00 PM a 6:00 PM, con el Reverendo Padre Der Vartan Jalfayan de la Iglesia Apostólica Armenia oficiando la ceremonia.
