Obituary of Keith Guillarmod

On September 27, 2023, after a year and nine month battle with cancer, Keith Guillarmod, age 60, from Davie, FL, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Keith endured his treatments with strength, calmness and positivity. His private nature left many uninformed about the seriousness of his illness. Born on July 31st, 1963, Keith was a beloved husband to Karen Guillarmod for 32 years and a loving father to Tara Guillarmod and Evan Guillarmod. Keith is survived by his mother Eileen Dunn, sister Renee’ Edwards, brother in law Chester Edwards, niece Brianna Edwards, sister in law Sherry Stockelman, brother in law John Stockelman, nephews Shane Stockelman and Jake Stockelman, father in law Mike Steele, mother in law Marilyn Steele and step mother Catherine Guillarmod. Keith was preceded in death by his father, James Denzel “Denny” Guillarmod and step father, Robert Thomas “RT” Dunn. Keith worked in the South Florida mortgage industry for over 35 years and was well known and loved by his peers. Keith was very passionate about his career as well as his ability to help people achieve home ownership. Helping people was always in Keith’s nature and he exhibited that daily in his professional and personal life. Keith’s professionalism, hard work, ethical standards and dedication to his profession led him to a career as Production Manager for (PRMG) Paramount Residential Mortgage Group. In his role at PRMG, Keith enjoyed helping other mortgage professionals and their clients become homeowners. He enjoyed the challenges and loved to work alongside his work family. In his spare time, Keith loved to work in his yard and simply loved being with his wife Karen, daughter Tara, son Evan and his dog Zoe. In the evenings and on the weekends you could often find Keith and his dog on his golf cart going for a long ride. Keith also took special pride in taking care of his orchid plants and it gave him peace to be outdoors working on his landscaping and pruning the various plants on his property. To honor Keith’s memory and his passion for life, his family will be hosting a Celebration Of Life on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at his home located at 13100 SW 28 Court, Davie, FL 33330. The family invites anyone who knew Keith to attend this celebration and to share in our love and memories for a wonderful man who was taken from us way too soon. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Fight Colorectal Cancer/Fight CRC at fightcolorectalcancer.org in Keith’s name.
