Obituary of William A. Reigle, Jr.

Bill Reigle went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born in Blakely, Pennsylvania on July 19, 1938, to William Arthur, Sr and Stella (Boyarski) Reigle. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Geraldine E. (Speakman) Reigle and his wife Delphene A (O’Neal). He is survived by his two sisters, Carolyn E (Reigle) Lawrence and Kathryn J (Reigle) Snelling of Florida, two nephews, one niece, four great nieces and six great nephews. He is also survived by many members of his wife’s family who considered him one of their own. Bill grew up in Coatesville, PA where he was very active in the Coatesville Presbyterian Church as well as Boys Scouts. He received all awards, including Eagle Scout, God and Country and the Order of the Arrow, Brotherhood Rank. Upon graduation from high school, he served in the US Marine Corps and then enrolled in the Philadelphia College of the Bible. He graduated with a BS Degree in Theology. Bill had received Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior on June 14, 1959. He met his wife, Delphene O’Neal while at PCB. They were married in June of 1964 right after graduation and together served in Child Evangelism Fellowship teaching children about Jesus. He was an administrator at the Akron Christian School for 5 years and retired from Edwin Shaw Rehabilitation Hospital as a Chemical Dependency Technician. Services will be held in Hartville, Ohio in the spring and he will be buried in the Randolph Cemetery with Delphene. Donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.
