Alfred George Seaga affectionately called Baba which means baby in Arabic, because he was the last of six children. Born to Alfred and Evadne Seaga on March 18,1941 in St. Andrew, Jamaica. He attended pre-school in Kingston and then moved on to Monroe College for secondary education. While there, he excelled in athletics and sports and won several cups and trophies. After school he entered the family business which dealt in the trading of dry goods. He remained there until his retirement a number years ago. He was very kind, generous and thoughtful person who enjoyed hours of listening to music and singing along. He was married for forty three years to his wife Mary Whitelocke and was very exemplary husband.
