Angelina Grace Brown (Angie, Babe), age 84, passed away on November 29th, 2023 in Hollywood, Florida.
Visitation will be held at Joseph A. Scarano Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Boulevard Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024 on December 5th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
Funeral service will be held at St. David’s Catholic Church, 3900 South University Drive Davie, Florida 33328 on December 5th, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Road Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33317.
Angelina was born in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Salvatore and Antoinette Pellizzi on May 19th, 1939. She went to school at PS 157 Brooklyn and graduated from Brooklyn Vocational High School for Homemaking in 1957. She worked at Mimi’s Garlic Rolls and Richard’s, was a Pharmacy Technician at Eckerd Drugs, Vault Manager at Dade Savings, and Secretary to Father Brendan Dalton for 35 years at Visitation Catholic Church and St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She was a cancer survivor, battling her fight from March, 2023 and recently finding out she was cancer free in October, 2023.
She enjoyed bingo, bunco, playing cards, crocheting, gardening, puzzles and word games, reading Woman’s World, watching Hallmark movies, going on cruises with her husband, her faith and her Bible, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Her home was the center for family gatherings and holds many memories in it.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori Tatosian, Toni Lopez, and Barbara Brown; grandchildren, Rob Tatosian, Patty Tatosian, Veronica Muniz, Jessica Exclusa and Christopher Lopez; and great-grandchildren, Xavier Ferrer, Isabella Lopez, Xena Ferrer, Brianna Tatosian, William Tatosian and Daniella Muniz.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Brown; parents, Salvatore and Antoinette Pellizzi; and siblings, Vincent Pellizzi and Geraldine Hunt.
