Obituary of Marie Nicole Listrade Chancy

Marie Nicolle Lestrade-Chancy, 71, of North Miami, Florida, passed away on February 4th, 2024 in North Miami Beach, Florida. Funeral Service will be held at 432 SW 10th Court, Deerfield Beach, Florida, 33441 on February 17th at 12:00 p.m. with I Am Kingdom Ministries International officiating, Burial will follow at Fairway Memorial Cemetary, 1391 NW 45th St, Deerfield beach, FL, 33064. Marie was born on July 31, 1952, in Cap de Haiti, to the late Clovis Lestrade and Josette Papin. She immigrated to the United States in the early 80's, where she married Roger Chancy, who preceded her in death in 2019. Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She attended Martin Luther King College in Cap-Haitien Haitian, worked as a certified nursing assistant for over 30 years, caring for countless patients with compassion and professionalism. She was a faithful Christian who attended and served in various ministries. She loved God, her family, and her community. Marie enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing, and playing with her grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. She loved to spoil her grandchildren with money and nice things, but more importantly, with love and attention. She was their biggest fan and their best friend. Marie is survived by her two children, Johanne and David; her four grandchildren, Christian, Caleb, Cameron, and Cayla; her siblings, Jean, Jin Jin, and Jean Michel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Madoudou (Marie). Marie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a blessing to many and a gift from God. She is now resting in the arms of her Savior, where there is no pain, no sorrow, no tears. She is with her husband, and with all the saints and angels who praise God.
