Obituary of Bryan Lance McQueen

Bryan Lance McQueen, 57. Detroit, Michigan, passed away on April 8th, 2024, in Coral Springs, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 9000 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 on April 24th ,2024. Visitations will be from 10am-1pm with Father Youry Jules officiating. Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449. Scarano Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Bryan was born in Detroit, Michigan to Carrie Smith on July 23rd, 1966. He completed college with an Associate degree, after some time he decided to join the U.S ARMY not once but twice in 1994 and in 2004 for a total of 10 years as a SPECIALIST (SPC) where he worked in Personnel and Human Resources. Received many Awards and Medals as follow: ARMY COMMENDATION MEDAL (2ND AWARD)//ARMY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL (2ND AWARD)// ARMY GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL//NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL (2ND AWARD) // KOREA SERVICE MEDAL// GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM SERVICE MEDAL // KOREA DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL // IRAQ CAMPAIGN MEDAL // ARMY SERVICE RIBBON // OVERSEAS// EXPERT MARKMANSHIP M16. He later moved to Florida to be close to his children and finally worked for the City of Coral Springs as a Facility Custodian at the Springs Center for the Arts. Bryan loved to draw and write poems. Bryan is survived by his Children: Cierra in Michigan, Brianna (MJ) and Alix in Florida. Siblings: Pam in New York, Bud and Patrice in Michigan. Former Wife: Natasha in Florida and many Nieces and Nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him. He was predeceased by his mother Carrie Smith. He will be truly missed and forever Loved. In Repose Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. following Burial at 2:00 P.M. South Florida VA National Cemetery- Lake Worth, Florida.
