Munoz III, Vivian Hadding, Annabelle Sireci, Amy Simcox, and Eduardo Gonzalez Munoz. He is survived by his loving wife Susie of fifty-one years, and his children, Vivian, Annabelle, Amy, and Eddy. He was a remarkable individual who lived a life full of adventure and passion. Born on November 26th, 1930, in Havana, Cuba, Alfredo's adventurous spirit led him to pursue his dreams with unwavering determination. Whether it was the dream of being an actor or flying planes, he was an inspiration to his children and all who knew him. Alfredo had a deep love for flying and spent many exhilarating hours in the sky, indulging in his passion for adventure and travel. His courageous spirit was showcased during a memorable flight to Nassau from Freeport, Bahamas, where he found himself entangled in the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle. Despite the challenges he faced, Alfredo's quick thinking and resilience, guided by a Pan Am pilot, led him safely back on course. He excelled at anything he set his mind to and rose to the position of number one sales manager in export sales covering the Western Hemisphere for the international tire company BF Goodrich. His commitment to service was evident in his years spent in the Civil Air Patrol, where he volunteered for numerous rescue missions over the Atlantic, saving not only people, but also animals in need. Alfredo's kindness extended to all creatures, big and small, reflecting his compassionate nature. Beyond his aviator pursuits, Alfredo was a charismatic individual with a great sense of humor, often likening himself to the iconic James Bond, Agent 007. He cherished his collection of gadgets, especially wristwatches, which mirrored his love for precision and craftsmanship. In 1960, Alfredo's bravery and resourcefulness shone through as he safely guided his family to the United States, leaving behind the tumultuous landscape of Cuba. A skilled lawyer with a doctorate in law, he navigated challenging situations with grace and composure, even when faced with harrowing experiences such as being hijacked during business trips. Alfredo G. Munoz, Jr. leaves behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and unwavering determination. His memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. His favorite motto from the movie Galaxy Quest was “Never Give Up, Never Surrender!” Rest in peace, Alfredo. Your wings may be stilled, but your spirit will soar forever. This obituary honors the remarkable life and accomplishments of Alfredo G. Munoz, Jr., celebrating his passions, resilience, and compassion in the face of adversity. Services are pending.
