Obituary of Rudi J. Jie-A-Fa

JIE-A-FA Rudi, Johan (Asiew) Jie A Fa, 90, of Pembroke Pines, passed away om April 28th at home surrounded by family members. Rudi was born in Paramaribo, Suriname (south America) to Jie A Fa and Johanna Boldewijn. He started his own company (Reliable Business House) in Paramaribo in 1958 and had a store in the capital Paramaribo by the name of Zonneschijn for many years. He liked reading Time magazine and follow world news. He liked soccer and has been to a World Cup soccer match in Germany 1974. He loved going to the movies every weekend and he liked dancing. He loved playing Mahjong and going to the Casino. Rudi is survived by his children: Grace and Wim Jessurun, Jone and Deighton Dyer, Rudi jr., Jack and Kim Jieafa Grandchildren: Joshua and Gabrielle Tatiana, Sabrina, Chelsey, McKenzy and Skylar Olivia and Jordan Siblings: Friede, Thelma, Ewald, Harold and Marjorie Nieces and Nephews: Glenn, Armand, John, Vivian, Winston, Diana and families Lino, Pernille and families Karel, Diana and families Robert and family Danielle, Natalie and families Rudi was preceded in death by his daughter Denise, wife Petronella, brother-in-law Desi and Chris, sister Ivonne, Niece Patricia Funeral services will be held at Scarano Funeral Home 9000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines Florida 33024 on Wednesday May 1st, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (3:00pm for family).
