Obituary of Anna Louise Preziotte

Anna Louise Preziotte (nee Ducato), passed away on June 25, 2024, in Hollywood, Florida. Born on August 29, 1932, in Erie, Pennsylvania and dedicated her career to serving others, first as an executive secretary at the New York telephone company in Manhattan during the early 1970s, and later as a teacher aid for over 20 years at Nova Elementary School in Davie, Florida. Anna was a loving and caring, individual, always concerned about the well-being of others. Her passion for cooking was evident as she loved to prepare large meals for gatherings of any size. She was an active member of Saint David Catholic Church, in Davie, Florida, where she always participated in various community activities. She is survived by her daughter, Denise DeGroff; son, Paul Preziotti (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Lauren DeGroff, and Royal DeGroff (Kristie); and great grandson, Royal DeGroff II. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Preziotte; her parents, Alberto & Mary Ducato; siblings, Mary, Dorothy, Vivian, and Joe. A memorial mass will be held at Saint David Catholic Church, 3900 South University Dr., Davie, FL 33328, on Tuesday, July 2 at 10 AM. The Joseph H Scarano Funeral Homes, located at 9000 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33324, is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Broward County in memory of Anna, her dog, Bella, whom she adopted from the Humane Society.
