I am enclosing a photo of three beautiful people in my life, Lillian, Maria and my brother, Pat. Looking back on this photo, it was a wonderful beautiful happy day for all of us when we wished Robert and Maria a happy life. I shared many, many happy years with them. This is all I would like to remember. I’ve known Lillian since I was 18 years old. She was with Pat and my family for many, many years. Maria, I’ve known for the past 61 years. I was her godmother. I was her aunt. She was my only niece which I loved and adored. She was a loving, beautiful girl. My brother, I have known for almost 85 years of my life. He loved his mom and dad dearly. He was a handsome young man who had a lot of ups and downs in his life. However, he went to work at the Bank of New York and he met Lillian whom he married. Then, he decided he wanted to be a hairdresser so he enrolled in school, got his license and he started working at Macy’s in New York. After being a hairdresser, he worked in the business world at Prudential Insurance as well as in Real Estate. He was married for over 60 years. They only had one child, our beloved Maria. My brother loved Florida and went there for many years. They had a lot of friends and they used to go back-and-forth during the winter time. He decided to move to Florida about 5 years ago. We always had beautiful moments and Christmas time together and we were always available for family parties and family affairs. That’s what I want to remember. I remember my brother as a good young man. I loved him and I know he loved us. We are here for him now because God accepted his wish to be with Lillian. We all love you. Rest in peace, my dear brother, your sister Amelia.

The loss of a beloved family member is a sad part of life. However when three members of that particular family pass within in a six month period , the heartache is severely compounded.
My beloved aunt , my cousin, and now my uncle are all back together again in heaven .
The heart is stronger than we choose to believe….. their love and admiration has brought them to follow the same path , their destiny was dictated by the heart , one after each other , one not being able to survive without .
That being said reminds us of how precious life is now, in the present .
I’m extremely sad , I know all family members and friends as well are feeling the same, but I hold strongly the cherished memories shared with all of them.
From my early childhood memories to adulthood…..
……..my uncle had such a strong presence .
He was a very generous man, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He loved his friends and family and enjoyed being together with all of them. He and my aunt had a lot of good times traveling with a fun group of friends . They loved going to Las Vegas and seeing shows, eating in fine establishments and of course gambling.
My Uncle was intelligent, and beside my dad , probably one of the best dressed gentleman around the town.
He was always very well coifed. He loved being tailor dressed.
And my Aunt Lillian by his side just as elegantly poised. She was stunningly beautiful.
They loved each other deeply.
And they had one child a daughter , my cousin Maria , who was also beautiful, and cherished .
Dressed like a little doll from early childhood.
I’m holding on to all the good memories from the past, because that’s when the true love of this family shined.
I think we can say we are all blessed for having them forever in our hearts.. and now with the Grace of God, let them rest in peace and watch over all of us , and continue to lead our lives with love.
With Love Always, Denise
