It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dieunie Fanfan at the age of 61 on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. Born on April 21st, 1963, in Jeremie, Haiti, Dieunie was the beloved daughter of Andrea Gay and Antoine Fanfan.
Throughout her life, she wore many hats and touched countless lives. Her career spanned various roles, including serving as a consulate for Haiti, a chef, a business owner, and an artist. In every endeavor, she brought passion, dedication, and a unique touch that left a lasting impact on those around her.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dieunie was cherished for her warm spirit and compassionate nature. She was a devoted friend, always ready with a listening ear and kind words. As a sister and mother, she provided unwavering love and support, nurturing her family with grace and strength.
Dieunie's legacy is one of resilience, love, and generosity. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
A celebration of Dieunie's life will be held on Monday August 12th, there will be a viewing from 2 to 6pm followed by a prayer service at 6. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the joy she brought into the world.
