Nicole Erika Morillo, CPCS died peacefully on January 4, 2025 at the UF Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida at the age of 38.

Nicole is survived by her mother Mercedes Morillo, her bonus dad Rafael Benitez, her husband Ivanhoe Maria, her brother Nestor B. Morillo, her nieces, her cousins and all of her beloved family members and friends.

Nicole was born on June 17, 1986 at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City to Mercedes and Nestor P. Morillo. She graduated from American Intercontinental University in South Florida in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and received her certification in Provider Credentialing Management in 2020. Nicole was dedicated to her craft and led a successful career as a Senior Manager of Credentialing in the healthcare industry. She married the love of her life Ivanhoe Maria in 2015. In 2016, they moved from their beloved NYC to Weston, Florida and adopted their precious Husky-doodle doggie Cocoa in 2021.

Nicole was passionate about helping others and loved to indulge in traveling, cuisines and experiencing new places. She was an intelligent, generous, and dedicated individual that loved putting smiles on people’s faces and lit up the room with her laughter. Nicole adored her family and friends and would climb mountains to stay loyal to them. Her one of a kind genuine spirit will be sincerely missed, yet her gracious memories will live on in our hearts forever.

In Repose Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Entombment Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery-Doral, Florida.
