BROWN, 66, BORN ON JANUARY 19, 1949 IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA TO LOVING PARENTS MAXINE ADELAIDE EDWARDS AND ROBERT BROWN, PASSED AWAY AFTER AN EXTENDED ILLNESS SATURDAY DECEMBER 19, 2015 AT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PEMBROKE. BELOVED WIFE OF JULIUS MATHIS; DEAREST MOTHER OF THE LATE RUFUS EMANUEL LAWHORN, ANDREA CHANTEL RICHARDS AND SON-IN-LAW KONRAD RICHARDS; CHERISHED GRANDMOTHER OF ARIELLE, CHRISTOPHER, DESIREE AND KERAH; LOVING GREAT- GRANDMOTHER OF BRI YANAH AND DOMINIC; DEAREST SISTER OF ANDREA, THEODORE, JACQUELINE, KEVIN, CASSANDRA, ROBERT AND BROTHER-IN-LAW NATHANIEL; LOVING AUNT TO KIMBERLY, JARET, OCTAVIA AND OTHER NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS; DEAREST COUSIN OF MARILYN, MIRIAM, AND JENNIFER AND A LOVING FRIEND TO MANY.
SHE WORKED FOR MANY YEARS AT THE MIAMI HEART INSTITUTE IN MIAMI BEACH AND RETIRED FROM OCEAN SIDE REHABILITATION. SHE LOVED TO DANCE! SHE WAS AN AWESOME NURSE AND HAD A VERY GIVING HEART. SHE WILL BE REMEMBERED AND LOVED BY MANY.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2015 FROM 6:00P.M. - 9:00P.M. AT JOSEPH A. SCARANO PINES MEMORIAL CHAPEL WHERE THE MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE AT 7:00 P.M
