Jean Volturo 91 was born on November 14, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York to her loving parents Louis Ottiano and Katherine Loporchio. She passed away January 4, 2016 after a brief illness in Margate, Florida.

Beloved wife of the late John Volturo. Loving mother of Jeannie, married to Dave Craig; Leonard married to Patricia Volturo; Thomas married to Anna Volturo. Dearest Grandmother to John, Lisa, Lenny, Lauren & Victoria. Great Grandmother to Alexia, Haylee, Bella, Caleb & Camila. Loving sister to the late Madeline & Katherine. Loving mother-in-law to the late Billy Longobardi.

Moved to Florida in 2002 from Staten Island, New York. She liked to cook, play cards, watch game shows and also was a Columbiette of KOC in Brooklyn, New York. She loved Jerry Vale, Barry Manalo & Engelbert Humperdinck. She loved to Dance.

In repose on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. and 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. at Joseph A. Scarano Pines Memorial Chapel 9000 Pines Boulevard Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024. Prayer service will be held in the evening. On Tuesday, January 12, 2016 Burial will be at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
