Luis Miguel Cruz Martinez born August 27 1935 to his loving parents Francisca Martinez and Ernesto Cruz in Santa Isabel Puerto Rico. Passed January 22, 2016 in Lauderdale lakes after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Doris Margartia Cruz of 40 years. Loving father of Carmen, Griselle, Frances, Hennessey, Delia, Yvette and Ricardo. His stepchildren include Miriam, Ricardo, Daniel and Steven. He is also survived by numerous loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, Luis moved to Hollywood Florida 25 years ago from Philadelphia, PA. He lived in the Bronx New York and Philadelphia before moving to Hollywood, Florida and he retired from New York City Police Department. Fishing was his passion. He was always helping everybody and everybody loved him. He was a very giving person.
