Billy Gene Ray born September 6, 1943 in South Carolina to his loving parents John and Virginia Ray. Passed away January 5, 2016 in Sunrise, Florida. Beloved husband of Evangeline Bonyad Amoroso since 1989 loving father to Billy Ray, loving grandfather to Maddy, Kharis and Lucy. Dearest brother of Barbara and Linda.

He worked for South Carolina Electric Company. Billy moved to Florida in 1988 from South Carolina, worked as V.P. of customer service American registry in Miami, Florida over 10 years until his retirement. He also worked at Goodwill Industries as a personal director where he met his beloved wife and beautiful Evangeline who worked there a company nurse.

Billy will be remembered as being a good person, an athletic. He used to run 3 miles a day after work. He was a marathon runner in his younger days. He was a proud veteran, served in the U.S Army. He enjoyed playing gulf, photographing,

traveling and long drives. He was a very good man, a loving husband and wonderful friend. He also was a graduate from the University of South Carolina.

A member of Honey Do Club and he has asthma. Honey do this and Honey do that and if you needed something from him he will say ask my wife! An avid sports fanatic, enjoyed fishing and golfing with the wife. He had a very good sense of humor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016-4P.M. to Midnight. Prayer Service- 8:00 P.M. Military- 7:30 P.M.
