Survived by his wife Yolanda Maria Alvarado. Loving father of Gabriel Fernando, Miguel Alberto and David Alvarado. Loving Grandpa to Angelina Grace Alvarado and Ava Marie Alvarado and Gabriel Frances Alvarado. Dearest brother of Bertha De Chaparro.

Gabriel moved to Florida in 2002 from Long Island, New York, he was a doctor in Queens, New York in Astoria General Hospital for 27 years. He was also an anesthesiologist and surgeon for two years in St. John's Hospital in Queens, New York. His favorite hobbies were photography and basketball in Colombia. He was a brilliant student in Colombia during his entire education.
