Ivy Norma THOMAS (Norma ) 94 of Pembroke Pines, died..09:30 on March 26 2016 at Presidential Place. She was born to the late Lilian (Spraggs)and Leopold Bryan Aug 06,1921 in Kingston Jamaica. She was educated in Port Royal & Kingston JA. She married the late Norman Thomas in 1959 and lived in Queens, NY. Norma worked as secretary with International Ladies Garment Workers Union in NY also worked with The United Federation of Teachers in NY. She moved to Pembroke Pines in 2002 she was a member of the Ebony club and a volunteer at Focal Point Senior Club. Norma was an avid reader loved music especially jazz & doo-wop, dancing, solving cross word puzzles, card & word games and gardening she traveled extensively . Norma is survived by a son, Anthony, nieces Beverley & her husband Richard Reddick, Theresa Waul, Maureen Hall (surrogate niece) other nieces, grand nieces, grandnephews great grandnieces, great great grandnephews & a host of other relatives & friends.
