Robert J. Lawson Sr., 93, died in his sleep in Hollywood, Florida on April 6, 2016. Bob was a loving husband of 72 years; the father of seven devoted children; executive officer of an LST during WWII; a decorated FBI Agent who worked in the Milwaukee, Madison, Philadelphia, New York, and Miami offices before retiring in 1976 to become the Head of Security for World Jai Alai. He is survived by his adoring wife Muriel Mischke Lawson; sons Robert James Jr. and Thomas Michael; daughters Kathleen Lawson Albertson and Kristine Lawson Morley; sons Stephen Peter, James Dennis, and Kevin Daniel; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A Viewing will be held at Scarano Funeral Home, 9000 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL on Friday April 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on April 16, 2016 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church 200 N. University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The American Cancer Society or the autismspeaks.org website.
