Hodos, Martin G III 86 of Hollywood FL passed away April 9, 2016 at McCullough Place, Johnstown PA. Born December 16, 1929 in Johnstown, PA, son of Martin J Hodos Jr and Elizabeth (Cernak) Hodos. Preceded in death by parents, wife Bernadine (Grassa) Hodos, son Dennis, brother Joseph, sister Mary Wallace, and brothers-in-law Robert Wallace and David Canary. Survived by sister Elizabeth (Anthony) Sestrich, sister Theresa (late David) Canary, brother John (Theresa) Hodos, sister-in-law Charlene (late Joseph) Hodos, and numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to him. Martin was an Air Force Korean War Veteran, retired Lieutenant of the Hollywood Florida Fire Department. He was an avid golfer with his favorite good luck white golf hat. Enjoyed all sports especially baseball where he participated in the first AAABA Tournament in Johnstown, PA. Funeral arrangements handled by Joseph A Scarano Funeral Home, 4351 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL. Viewing Sunday April 17 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Mass of Christian burial, Monday April 18, 10 am, Navity Catholic Church, Hollywood FL. Special thank you to everyone at McCullough Place who cared for Martin in his last few months.
