Obituary
Morgan Cosme Pearcy
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joanne Worthington Pearcy, and sons Mark (deceased), Phillip, Danny, and Paul (Maureen), and grandson Jake Morgan was born September 27, 1938, in Havana, Cuba, and served in the United States Army. He graduated from Miami Technical High School in 1957. After high school, he started in the apprenticeship program with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 347 where he obtained his electrician's license. He remained a member of the Union for over 50 years. He owned and operated his own electrical company for many years as well as employment with other prominent electrical companies in the Miami area. He will be remembered for his dedication to his employees and the people who worked with him. He was an active member of the United Methodist Church where he was part of congregations in Carol City, South Miami, and New Horizon. He will be missed by all who knew him. He shall be remembered as a husband, father, and friend who believed in God, fairness and an honest day's work.
